Debut EP – ‘Future Fossils’ Coming in Spring 2021

Stay tuned Trilobyte Fans, our debut EP is coming soon in Spring of 2021! We have been working hard on our music ever since starting the project several years ago… (2017??) Ever since we’ve all been keen on producing tracks in the studio as well as working out a live workflow for jamming, part generation as well as more of a live studio jam or live PA preparation.

During this time in the Trilobyte mines, we’ve generated some “Future Fossils” and wanted to bring them to the surface for you to enjoy. Our first release will comprise two tracks that have withstood a couple years listening in the studio. Finally we’re ready to bring you Future Fossil and Lizard Brain, packaged together as a 2-track EP.

Trilobyte 2021 – Into the Future!

Woohoo! We all made it through 2020. Whaddayear! So much happened. Or didn’t… 😛 Jeff got Covid (boo!) but he’s ok now (yay!). Now we’re all excited and motivated to make more progress for 2021! Who isn’t, right? Well hopefully we can lay out some plans that we’ll actually stick to.

For starters we’ve moved to weekly meetings. This might be elementary for some, but it’s a shift for us. Starting out on Saturdays at 4:20 PM for January. We’ll see how it goes!

Garage Jamming

Trilobyte - Garage Jamming

During 2020 and in an attempt to keep meeting while maintaining our social distancing, Scott hosted us in his garage and we were all able to set up our rigs to practice our developing live set and generate new material for studio & other recording projects.

We are also preparing for a live stream opportunity coming up sometime in the future. More details TBD as they become available.

Future Fossil

We are proud to announce our first studio produced track, Future Fossil. This is a groovy trip through a deeper, minimal tech space with a funky lead carrying the track throughout.
